ZERO TOLERANCE Effective Immediatley

EMSA has established a Zero Tolerance Policy regarding referees. Effectively immediately, this policy will be followed by all outdoor soccer matches hosted by EMSA or at any location under the authority of EMSA.
Coaches, assistant coaches, players, and spectators shall support the referee team. Failure to do so undermines the referee's authority and can create a hostile environment for all of those involved.
If a referee is addressed in a negative or threatening manner, the referee can give up to 2 verbal warnings before dismissing the person(s) from the game, field, and/or complex/site. The seriousness of an infraction is solely the opinion of the referee responsible for the match. Dismissals will be reported to EMSA and further action may be taken.
